Sad to see this is being discontinued. Absolutely adore the childhood friend trope, and felt it was well done with Max. Also the plot seemed really interesting in terms of how our relationship with Max will develop, along with what is potentially going on with the town with what happens at the end of the demo.
Definitely don't feel pressured to continue, but did want to express that there is interest :)

As a sucker for long hair, red hair, piercings, and small town charm, I'm going to miss Max, but I understand your decision and wish you luck in your other projects!
In the end, it's your choice whether you want to discontinue the projects or not, but I'd personally love it if you continued. I just watched a YouTuber play the demo and automatically loved not only the concept but Max as well. 10/10 story so far. fingers crossed that it continues.

Act 1 of this game is so good, ever since I played it, I've been coming back to check for an update and read comments. It often takes a while for an indie game to gain a fanbase, and I can think of several players and streamers who would rush to this game if it were completed, me especially. This has so much potential, PLEASE don't give up!

I dont know if it was how well the writing captures such delicate emotions, or how much i myself relate to the mc, but this visual novel made me feel THINGS. i cant remember the least time i teared up over one of those, it was so beautifully well written and i genuinely can not wait to find more about the lore of the bear mask and his relation to the town and max...urgrhrgrh so many questions are plaguing me, anxiously waiting for an update!!

I love how Max's new design and that he is now our childhood friend that a bit insane but love us. The Bear mask scene gave me chills but wanting more. Love your games so much and I can't wait for the next update.

I didn't expect to like him so much; he's such a yearner! I nearly choked up hearing him spill his heart to the player about our no-contact. Their friendship felt real and genuinely so sweet, it hurts.
I actually played the Original Close to Obsession, and it's a huge improvement. I was kinda scared to see his design and story change, but I'm very satisfied with his new direction, and I'm very excited to see where the story goes!!!
(BTW: I played with a friend on call, and he said "hear me out." On Patty, I just thought you should know that)
