I dont know if it was how well the writing captures such delicate emotions, or how much i myself relate to the mc, but this visual novel made me feel THINGS. i cant remember the least time i teared up over one of those, it was so beautifully well written and i genuinely can not wait to find more about the lore of the bear mask and his relation to the town and max...urgrhrgrh so many questions are plaguing me, anxiously waiting for an update!!

I love how Max's new design and that he is now our childhood friend that a bit insane but love us. The Bear mask scene gave me chills but wanting more. Love your games so much and I can't wait for the next update.

I really enjoyed the story so far, I LOVE the "small town with secrets" trope, and MAX
I didn't expect to like him so much; he's such a yearner! I nearly choked up hearing him spill his heart to the player about our no-contact. Their friendship felt real and genuinely so sweet, it hurts.
I actually played the Original Close to Obsession, and it's a huge improvement. I was kinda scared to see his design and story change, but I'm very satisfied with his new direction, and I'm very excited to see where the story goes!!!
(BTW: I played with a friend on call, and he said "hear me out." On Patty, I just thought you should know that)
OH MY GOSH I LOVE IT SO FAR. First chapter had me absolutely hooked (especially with that cliffhanger ending, kept me on the edge wanting more). I was absolutely weak and had to kiss Max (I mean look at him). Another beautiful creation you made, can't wait to see where you take this story!

I can't wait for the next segment to come out! At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Max had pulled something to bring MC back to hometown.
